Fingerprinting FAQ
What is a mobile notary in Florida?
A mobile notary is a Florida notary public who travels to the signer at home, work, a hospital, or another agreed location. Florida does not create a separate mobile commission. The notary still follows Chapter 117 rules for identity, journals, and fees. The statutory cap for many common notarial acts is $10 per notarial act under section 117.05. Travel is a separate fee the notary discloses. Remote online notarization is different. That requires an extra Department of State registration, approved technology, and identity-proofing under Part II of Chapter 117. Go Fingerprinting's mobile notary service for Volusia County is coming back after commission and insurance renewal. Join the waitlist through contact or booking while it is offline.
